SOUTH LAKES estate agency Milne Moser are celebrating yet another prestigious award after one of their team was bestowed with a nationally recognised honour at the EA Masters in London.
At a glittering event, held at Evolution London in Battersea Park on 7th November, Chelsey Nelson was presented with a People’s Choice – Best Negotiator (Lettings) award by celebrity hosts Rachel Riley and Dermot Murnahan.
“The EA Masters is the biggest estate agency leadership conference and exhibition in the UK.” explains Paige McNaughton, Director at Milne Moser Sales & Lettings.
“A highlight of the event is naturally the Best Estate Agent Guide Awards and it’s also one of the most respected in the property industry, thanks in no part to the fact that it is the only such UK award that agents don’t pay to enter.”
EA Masters organise the Best Estate Agent Guide, a publication which lists the top 20% of estate agents in the country. Each year 15,000 of the UK’s estate and letting agencies are assessed across a number of criteria, most notably customer service.
Those achieving these high performance standards are deemed to be among an elite group of agents, a benchmark necessary to be listed in the Best Estate Agent Guide.
Paige continues, “Every agent in the country is assessed against the same criteria, so sellers and landlords can take this as a trustworthy marque of distinction to see an agency listed in the Guide.”
A true Kendalian, Chelsey still lives here in the town with her husband, Jonathan, and their two daughters. She only joined the Lettings team at Milne Moser in early 2021 but has been an invaluable part of their ongoing success of the agency ever since.
Chelsey was nominated for the award by one of her directors at Milne Moser, Justine Allen, but that was just the start of the journey as Chelsey herself explains:
“As the name would suggest, it is a People’s Award so the fabulous testimonials from Milne Moser clients played a big part in me winning.”
“When we were invited to attend the event I knew that I was in the running for an award, but nothing was certain. Prior to the awards, I was interviewed by a panel of four of the judges and it was only on the night that the results were revealed.”
“I really am so grateful to have been nominated by Justine in the first place – it gives a great deal of satisfaction and pride knowing that you are doing your job well and it’s being noticed by those around you.”
“The whole experience was amazing and even to attend such an event was a privilege; walking on the stage to collect my award – albeit terrifying – is something I’ll never forget.”
This latest award comes hot on the heels of Milne Moser being acclaimed at the Best Estate Agent in Cumbria at England’s Business Awards.
