May 2018 - ESTAS - We’ve Won

So, we wanted to share some exciting news for you. Back in 2018 we entered the ESTAS again for all departments and all branches. The ESTAS are the largest customer review platform and award scheme for Estate & Lettings Agents, Property Lawyers and Mortgage Advisors in the UK. The rewards are unique because shortlisted and winning firms are selected purely on ratings from the general public.

After collating all of our feedback we were proud to be announced as Best in County within our Lettings Department as voted by our Tenants. This is an amazing achievement for all of our staff and its amazing to be recognised for the service we offer.

Westmorland County Show 2018

We are delighted to tell you that Milne Moser will once again host our successful hospitality stand at Westmorland County Show, which this year takes place on Thursday 13th September.

If you are planning to attend the show, as a valued client of the firm we would like to invite you to come see us at Stand C101. Team members from both our property and solicitors departments will be available to chat to you on the day.

Our stand is located in the main trade area of the show where we will serve delicious cakes, hot beverages, sparkling wine or a splash of Bowness Bay Brewing’s refreshing Swan Blonde.

Familiar New Faces at Milne Moser.

Milne Moser, one of South Lakeland’s longest established solicitors and estate agents have announced the appointment of two key members to their highly experienced property team.

Martin Brownsord joining the firm as Director of Property Services which covers the three departments of residential lettings, commercial property and residential estate agency, with Sarah Logan-Booth in the role of Estate Agency Manager,

Both Martin and Sarah are very familiar to the area and bring over forty years combined experience in estate agencies in the region.

Martin originally hails from Burton-in-Kendal, and now makes his home with his wife and three children in Grange-over Sands.

“Property and estate agency is literally in my blood.” comments Martin, “My Father was a local Chartered Surveyor working the majority of his life in Lancaster; latterly he was a partner with a local firm of chartered surveyors and commercial agents, here in Kendal.”

Martin started his career in Morecambe and Milnthorpe, gaining further experience in Bury, Bolton and Leyland whilst studying at the College of Estate Management in Reading. Returning to South Lakeland in 1991 to work predominantly in Ulverston and Grange-Over-Sands. He is a Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents and has been a past Chairman of the North Lancashire and Cumbria branch.

Sarah is also a member of the National Association of Estate Agents and brings a wealth of experience to the Milne Moser teams, at both the Kendal and Milnthorpe branches.

Living in and around Kendal for over 20 years means Sarah has invaluable knowledge of the area and the local property market.

Sarah commented: “It’s great to be joining such a well-established team and one so people-focused, everything starts and finishes with the customer. No matter the size of property, we’re all determined to deliver the best service, communicate with regular updates and strive to achieve the best price possible.”

These key appointments compliment the establishment of the Milne Moser Commercial Department in the Autumn of 2015, headed-up by the highly experienced John Tidd.
